I donāt know about that but Madeleineās reaction shot to the mask in the trailer looks like it has a similar window in the background.

Well spotted! I think that window in the trailer is probably in the āBlofeld detention-holiday-campā.
The Dr No - Professor Dent pic above has Ken Adams trademark harsh, brutalist simplicity (as particularly exemplified in Dr Strangelove):
Thereās a similar harsh brutalist aspect to Safinās concrete lair in the trailer, as well as this (probably) heavy water chamber (like DN it looks like radioactive material is key):
Being inspred by Adams doesnāt mean that Safinās DN. But thereās a few moments in the trailer that lead me to suspect that NTTD will connect the Adams/DN dots and perhaps throw in a Shatterhand.
Thereās an Asian angle to Safin; what looks like a model of a Chinese temple/pagoda, or possibly a Japanese Samurai residence:
āBroad strokesā and cherry picking arenāt new to the Bond movies, so could they be amalgamating elements from Bondās āAsian encountersā? Combining Chinese and Japanese may well be a faux pas, but i doubt that would stop them whacking these together in the writerās room.
Thereās what appears to be a Japanese Bonsai tree in his lair:
Could that it some way relate to a Garden of Death? Perhaps P&W decided to turn DN into Shatterhand and in turn change Shatterhand into Safin!
Btw, Is Safinās hand merely obscured in that pic, or is it a stump?
And of course thereās the uber significance of masks in this movie; Safinās Noh mask and the multitude littered around his lair:
So, could this image - straight out of a Predator sequel - be Bond taking on the āDragonā as he navigates his way across Crab Key?

To our best knowledge, the reshoots have been minimal which bodes well in my opinion. Perhaps those with Madeline and these additional aerial scenes are just pick-up shots. Still hoping for a BTS video - soon.
I think weāll also get the second trailer probably sometime in February.
Yeah, expecting it Feb 2 tied in with the Super Bowl.
Also, Universal UK already announced that tickets will be on sale next month!

Just saw a new Heineken Bond commercial with Craig as Bond on Dutch TV. Anyone knows about this? Seems a little early to me.
What did it involve?
I didnāt expect it, so I didnāt watch it untill I was hearing the JB theme, he was sitting at a bar in a cafe.
Theyāve never had a Super Bowl spot before, no?
Basically, early Feb in time for Birds of Prey would be the prime time for a final trailer, with tickets going on sale and all, and BoP being the last major genre blockbuster until NTTD to have a trailer with.
In any case during the game itself a spot is all it would probably be but Iāll be surprised if no trailer drops either that very evening or around it.
Usually what movies do with Super Bowl spots is do a 30sec spot then release an āextendedā version on the internet later that night that can be as long as they want. It will say something at the end like āto see more visit 007.comā or some such thing.
I have a feeling weāll get something like that along with an announcement that tickets are now on saleā¦
