Damn, I actually clicked on that.
I am so sorry. Its…just…so wrong.
If they wanted a transatlantic hit then Sheeran is a safe bet and he does sort of fly the flag for British pop music globally, wretched though he is. I don’t think they would go for him though as I’ve not heard him vary his horrid style at all. If it’s a choice, I’d take the loathed Foo Fighters over him: they are at least in the right sort of style.
They are working on Gaga right now…
In a massage sense?
Eh? Didn’t seem too trollish to me.
It spent the morning going around the forum posting homophobic slurs.
It’s been dealt with…
Check out his other posts.
Not necessary any more.
I wouldn’t be too surprised if they went with Ed Sheeran. It would be a guaranteed hit around the world.
Let’s hope not… it would be a guaranteed hit but it would also be guaranteed something else ending in ‘it’.
This Lamb song is quite Bondy (give it a bit to kick in):
Just been listening to this myself!
As you say, you have to wait, but it’s great once it gets going. i’d lost track of them since the amazing '96 track Gorecki. Very pleased to have rediscovered them.
Unkle just released a new record, The Road: Part II. I didn’t know there was a part I; lost track of them too after the amazing 2007 record War Stories.
Two great bands i’ll be catching up with over the next week or two
Has anyone here already suggested Unloved for the title song? If not, they are my current hoped-to-be-considered artist.
Some rumblings about Ed Sheeran doing the theme song. Wouldn’t be surprised, he is a very standard “EON pick”. Zeitgeisty AF.
Ugh, please no.
If it’s sheeran I’ll skip seeing it at the cinema, since there’s no way I’m sitting through that without the power to fast-forward.
Sam smith bordered on that situation for me. I dont think sheeran will do it tbh - but Bond is a pop music showcase and apart from some exceptions it would be folly to expect anything other than a very popular artist with the capacity to get a number one record and an oscar, especially post skyfall and spectre
